I swear, I will get around to my September and October updates. First, I wanted to write out our family gift list.
I think it is better to gently, but firmly, make wishes clear than to pretend to be grateful and excited for something you really aren’t thrilled about.
The girls have a ton of toys, and don’t play with them, preferring instead to go to museums and play outside. Therefore, our wish list reflects their needs for outside the home play.
Note: Personally, I LOVE the toys that grandma picks out, and they get tons of use. I’m not saying all toys are evil.

So, what gifts do YOU want this season?
We’re making the kids a dress up kit for Christmas so stuff to go in there is highly coveted. Also art supplies for my budding artiste.
Dan is tough, he doesn’t really want for stuff. He’d love a new bike but will probably wait a bit longer, at least until the spring when he’ll use it more.
I want lots of stuff but need very little. An amazon giftcard or a trip to a coffee shop (without the kids!) would thrill me. haha
<3 Dress up!
We don't really want for much, either…but if I don't make a list, I'll end up with 6 snuggies, 5 ZhuZhu pets, 4 French hens, 3 Hamilton Beach Blenders, 2 Nintendo Wiis and a partridge in a pear tree.
Some of the stuff I listed is just plain silly. I don't expect anyone to get us a Diamond Plate Foosball Table, Apple iPad, or
Yoga/Surf Vacation in Costa Rica…but wouldn't it be cool if someone was that generous?
You can cross off the “Tinker Bell” movie and the Play doh
